Course Content
This course covers Red Hat Satellite 6, the latest major release of Red Hat Satellite, for the first time. This new release is a radical redesign of Satellite with a new architecture and interfaces. Even system administrators familiar with Red Hat Satellite 5 will require training on the updated product.
Most customers of Satellite operate deployments in the hundreds of systems and primarily use the software update management features of Satellite. This course is targeted at this major audience, but also introduces more advanced features such as system configuration management with Puppet in order to enable customers to use these more advanced features as they determine the need to do so.
